A animated film of fiction where narrate as a beautiful african goddess "Ochun" Decides to leave heaven and to her lover "Oggún" and comes to the Havana where she knows young man "Abel" and she fall in love with him and begins a passionate romance. But she knows that as goddess she is can not fall in love because debilitates her supernatural power. "Oggún" decides to follow her and to conquer again her love to any price.

Abel Alvarez Varona
Director


He was born at Havana City in 1978. Before entering the audiovisual scene, he studied automobile mechanics as a career. In 2002 he began working at the ICRT (Cuban Institute of Radio and TV) where he filmed his first advertisement, educational spot and show presentation animations. In 2003, as director of the short film “Reducto”, he received several prizes from Cuban festivals such as the Best Animation in the Third Festival of Young Filmmakers and five awards in the Cine Plaza Festival. In 2005 he was awarded the Caracol Prize of the Cuban Union of Artists and Writers (UNEAC) for the animated film “Serenata en Son Mayor”. That same year, jointly with other filmmakers, he founded and headed the Ñoo Productions, an independent group. In 2006 he received the Lucas Award for the video clip of the “Ojos de Brujo” Spanish group. This video clip is included in the album Techari that won the Latin Grammy in 2007.

 

Ermitis Blanco Fernández

Born in the City of Havana in 1978. Before joining the audiovisual scene he worked as illustrator and comic strip maker in “Somos Jóvenes” magazine in 1999. Later that year he began working as animator for the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinema Art and Industry (ICAIC) and worked in coproductions with France, Spain and Mexico. In 2003 he transferred to the Animation Studios of the Cuban Radio and Television Institute (ICRT) as cartoon director. He has been awarded may prizes, such as Best Animation at the Third Young Filmmakers Festival for his work “Reducto”. This animation film was granted five awards in the Cine Plaza Festival. In 2005 he received the “Caracol” Prize of the Union of Cuban Artists and Writers (UNEAC) for this animation film “Serenata en Son Mayor.” That same year, jointly with other filmmakers, he established the Ñoo Productions independent group, and became its founder-director. Dany González Rodríguez

Was born in the City of Havana in 1981. Before joining the audiovisual scene he worked as illustrator and cartoonist for the following magazines Somos Jóvenes, Alma Mater, Zunzún, Pionero and Caimán Barbudo of the “Abril” Publishing House from 1997 to 2000. In 2000 he was graduated from the “San Alejandro” School of Fine Arts in the City of Havana. He has received the following awards as draftsman: Academia 2000 first Prize, “Salón Playa 2000,” “PMA en Acción (FAO) 2002,” “Salón Servando Cabrera” 2000 (Salon Playa and a mention at the “Salón Ciudad” in 2004, a tribute to Wifredo Lam. From 2004 on, he began working as collaborator in the Animation Studios of Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT), where he participated as animator in the animation film “Serenata al Son Mayor”, which was awarded the Caracol Festival first prize for Animated Films. That same year, 2006, jointly with other filmmakers, he participated in the founding of the “ÑOOo Productions” independent group, as Designer and Art Director.
