Literopolis, the city of authors, is under the de facto rule of a gangster, don Frustrationi, whose absolute control only allows the publishing of mediocre and trite works. At another dimension, the kingdom of the muses is deteriorating. Lia, a muse, is assigned to inspire Carlos, a young unpublished author in whom the kingdom has deposited its hope. Don f and a banished muse will act against him for their own benefit.

Current occupation: Filmmaker, Animation Director and Designer at the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinema Art and Industry (ICAIC). He has collaborated in films of outstanding directors, such as Juan Padrón Blanco (“Más Vampiros en la Habana”, Cuba, 2003), Juan Carlos Cremata Malverti (“Viva Cuba”, Cuba, 2004), and Leonardo Pérez (“H2O”, Spain, 2008).
He has also worked in advertisement making many advertising spots and video clips. He was part of the team that designed the storyboard and the characters of the feature film “Meñique”, currently under production. At present, he is Art Director of the Cuban-Colombian co production “Victeria y Globuelo”, ongoing production.

He has been awarded several prizes such as:
Lucas Award for best Video Clip Animation 2004
Lucas Award to the best Video Clip Opera Prima 2007
“Caracol” Prize of the Cuban Union of Writers and Artists (UNEAC) for the best Animation Short Film 2005, 2006, 2008.

He is Assistant Director of the feature film “Meñique,” currently ongoing production.

Jesús Rubio

He has done animation work for the Neptuno Films y Cromosomas filmmaking companies from Spain. He participated in the main animation of the feature films “Más Vampiros en la Habana” (First Coral Award, Havana Film Festival), “Viva Cuba” (Special Award by the Children’s Jury) and “Cesante”, from Chile. He is a member of the storyboard and characters design team of the feature film “Meñique,” currently under production. He is co-scriptwriter of the “Filminutos” Series.
